20 years of commitment
For two decades, the Sodexo Stop Hunger
Foundation has stood alongside a growing
network of charity partners, united by a
shared mission to 昀椀ght food insecurity and
its root causes. Our journey has never been
about acting alone - it’s about amplifying
the expertise, reach and compassion of the
brilliant organisations we support.
Through national partnerships with organisations
like Trussell and FareShare, and agreements with
local charities across the UK and Ireland where
active, we ensure the support we provide re昀氀ects
the needs of diverse communities.
We are involved funders, yet respectful of the
expertise and capacity of each charity partner.
We craft our support with care and attention,
doing more and working di昀昀erently only where
the bene昀椀t is clear.

About FareShare
About Trussell
We have been working with FareShare, the
food redistribution charity, since 2005. Over the
course of this 20 year partnership, Stop Hunger
has donated over £1.5m to the charity. This
has helped FareShare to cover its logistics costs
which form a huge part of its operation, enabling
it to increase the volume of surplus food being
redistributed and helping to redistribute the
equivalent of 昀椀ve million meals to those in need.
Like us, Trussell works to end hunger in
the UK forever. Trussell also supports a
community of food banks across the UK
to support people today. We have been
partnering with them for 17 years through
grants and hands and skills support.
We also agreed to provide a three-year grant
worth £50,000 a year to support Trussell’s
Help through Hardship free phone service in
England and Wales. Delivered in partnership
with Citizens Advice, it o昀昀ers tailored and
speci昀椀c support to people and can signpost
them to further support – 昀椀nancial and
personal- to ensure they have enough money
to a昀昀ord the essentials.
