Diane set up a food donation point at Sodexo’s
London Head O昀케ce which gets sent to a local
school via our charity partner, The Switch. She
also co-ordinates volunteering for The Switch and
arranged for visiting children to enjoy lunch when
they visit. She’s arranged Stop Hunger quiz nights
and ra昀툀es and book drives for Chapter One.
Mackenzie has taken the lead for Sodexo’s Energy
& Resources team, helping to reach 110% of their
volunteering target. She made the link to the
Abernecessities charity, which the Foundation
now supports 昀椀nancially, and this partnership was
recognised by the Scottish Parliament this year.
“Supporting Stop Hunger has given me a real sense
of purpose, I’ve seen 昀椀rst-hand how small actions can
make a big di昀昀erence. I’d encourage anyone to get
involved; the impact you can have is bigger than you
think.”

“Being part of Stop Hunger has shown me how
powerful collective action can be. By connecting our
Energy & Resources team with Abernecessities, we’ve
not only exceeded our volunteering goals—we’ve
helped create real change in our community.I’d
encourage anyone to get involved; when we lead with
purpose, amazing things happen.”

Kimberly-Clark is recognised for its partnership
with Mind, which has helped fund over 27,720
mental health helpline enquiries since 2020
through its Kleenex brand. Food insecurity and
mental health are deeply connected—stress,
anxiety and isolation often go hand-in-hand with
food insecurity. By supporting mental wellbeing,
Kimberly-Clark is helping to address one of the
root causes and consequences of food poverty.
“Our partnership with Mind re昀氀ects our shared
belief that tackling food insecurity also means
supporting mental wellbeing. Being recognised by
Stop Hunger reinforces our commitment to driving
social impact through meaningful collaboration.”
