Stop Hunger
Annual Report 2025
32
Our focus for FY26
Our partner Trussell reports that emergency
food provision in the UK has risen sharply over
the last 昀椀ve years. In Ireland too, reports show
that food insecurity is increasing fast, with
more parents skipping meals to feed their
children.
As we re昀氀ect with pride on our impact so far, we
remain mindful of the scale of the challenge. We
are committed to aligning our strategy, structure
and processes to the needs of our communities.
We have also completed a strategic review, examining the challenges in depth and ensuring we are best
placed to respond. As we continue our work, we are focusing on:
Promoting place-based
interventions that take into account
local context and involve the right
stakeholders, for example through
our new Community Fund
Keeping data requests proportionate
by requiring one single annual report
from our charity partners and providing
support from our team and from expert
partners like Pilotlight
Ensuring volunteering adds real
value by taking the lead from our
charity partners and exploring the
options for hands-on and skillsbased support
Enhancing support for price stability
initiatives such as Co-Farm and
community gardens, bringing healthy
and sustainable food within reach for
more people
Above all, we are focused on bringing more people together, to achieve greater things, as we help
to Stop Hunger across the UK and Ireland.
The Stop Hunger Foundation is helping us provide vital
support to our community of food banks across the UK.”
